Manage the application process for new development, redevelopment, and land use changes. Draft new or revised zoning ordinances, land use reports and comprehensive plan updates. Coordinate with outside agencies and present to neighborhoods,  Planning Commissions and City Councils. 

  Provide expert testimony in written and oral formats for commission and trial hearings 

Update comprehensive plans to ensure alignment with regional policies. Contribute in preparing city wide plans, regional transit corridors and environmental planning.

Oversee downtown redevelopment plans that enhance the city’s vision for the future and promote new development.
